This is really the last topic I wanted to talk about here, but apparently, it is a big part of solo trail walking while female.
That day, I wanted to go to Groß Ziethen but I had to change my plans rather drastically.
If you don’t want to mess with that topic (I get you—I don’t either), there is still a lot of trigger-free trail realness in the first part of the recording, as well.
I tell you how I spent the night in the barn, what the worst part of trail walking is for me, and how often I think of quitting. Then we get to Angermünde—the big small town of the area—and laugh over touristy restaurants that serve you food you can’t see for prices you can definitely feel.
